About Scot
A life of service and adventure
Service
As a Navy Hospital Corpsman, Scot spent most of his enlistment stationed with the 1st Marine Air Wing in Okinawa, Japan. He received extensive training in advanced emergency medicine, combat medicine, surgical procedures, and became comfortable with technical medical terminology. As an NCO, he learned to educate others, and to adapt and create answers to complex problems under pressure. After leaving the Navy, Scot continued to work in widely varied aspects of the medical field for another quarter-century, learning to connect, communicate with and comfort people of all ages, from all walks of life - often when they were afraid, in pain, or under severe stress.
Adventure
From his time on the island of Okinawa to the present, Scot has studied numerous martial arts (Asian, Brazilian and European) with and without weapons, becoming adept at several. His martial studies eventually led him to stage-combat and stuntwork. He spent 20 years working in stage and screen in the greater Seattle area as a stuntman, stage-combatant, member of a fire stunt team, and occasionally even as an actor.
